• An Act regarding the appointment of retired Cambridge Police Department officers as special police officers within the city of Cambridge for paid detail assignments
• Bill H.4143 was signed into law by Governor Baker on 5/25 under Chapter 93 of the Acts of 2018. https://malegislature.gov/Bills/190/H4143
• Several retired officers have been sworn in as Special Officers and have begun performing paid police details.
• Retired Officer Peter Neal is the contact person for all retirees interested in the program.
