About the Cambridge Police Patrol Officers Association
The purpose for which this Association is formed is the following:
- To promote and develop a friendly and fraternal spirit among all members of the police force of the City of Cambridge.
- To represent and act as a bargaining agent in all matters of policy, wages, hours and other conditions of employment and engage in other concerted activities for the purpose of collective bargaining or other mutual aid or protection and for the members of this Association in conformity with law.
- To mitigate the hazards of our work.
- To preserve and foster good-will with the citizens of and all people in the City of Cambridge; and to encourage cooperative understandings and agreements with all organizations, agencies and officers of government concerned with the police department of the City of Cambridge for the mutual benefit of its members and improvements of the public service.
